"Independence Day" another peaceful weekend

June 15, its another Sunday morning, get up so early for the usual Sunday mass. Its fathers day as well, a double celebration for the 110th Phil Independence day.The church was packed with people. Mass goes well solemnly, heads bowed together to meditate and reflect in each others personal intentions. Am not really a very religious woman, i even seldom go to church, but when I'm there am giving all myself to him, and i found it really refreshing and healing..I remembered one of our professor who remind us always,"if you can't take it anymore, take it to the lord".

The mass had ended and we ask to remain silent for the special speech from our honorable Ambassador Virginia H.Benavidez. She indeed delivered those words of wisdom from our old but remembered Filipino heroes who fought for our country's freedom. She also mentioned the modern heroes nowadays on how they contribute for the country's stability, peace and prosperity. With accurate words referring to overseas worker who strive hard, sacrifice and both become successful and some failed their lives in Brunei. All this things happened just to improved standard of living. She indeed gave us some piece of advise to be more vigilant and patient. Thanks to you our beloved Ambassador...

This is the last time i met with her majesty. We are invited by VIP to have a dance show and shes there too. This is after the performance, its inside the Palace, really amazing view. Am not sure she will remember me I'm just one of the dancer there who was so excited taking picture with her.
Well, unlike before, i used to be very active in participating any event in Brunei's Phil. Independence day celebration. They usually invite actors and actresses from Manila to add color of the day. Its a long week celebration of fun music and dance..But Hmmm this time i choose to spent my holiday with my lil FAMILY..

hehehe growing old in Brunei with no relatives at all,i settle down at last with my naughty fat cat and my loving partner. With them I'm happy, satisfied and inspired. Lazy lying in bed while eating and watching DVDs, that really made my day...Anyway to all Filipino bloggers and readers Happy Independence Day from the bottom of my heart..Enjoy your celebration!
